The Baxter YMCA is offering two days of “School’s Out” Camp over Fall Break. Planned activities include guest speakers, swimming, playing, cooking, and creating. Please remember to pack a lunch, two snacks, drinks for the day, swim suit, towel and a life jacket if needed. Camp at the Baxter YMCA, 7900 S. Shelby St., run from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. In Franklin Township, the hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $31 per day for facility members, $36 per day for program members. Another week closer to Election Day and another debate down, I’ve come no closer to picking a candidate.
It’s not because I’m torn between change and experience, liberal and conservative or red and blue. Instead, I can’t make up my mind, because neither candidate will give new information.

Well, shoot. I, for one, was disappointed when the authorities dropped charges against Jose A. Cruz of Clarksburg, W.Va. I really wanted to see how that one was going to play out in the courts.
Mr. Cruz, 34, is the man who was charged with battery on a South Charleston police officer for passing gas and then fanning it in the officer’s direction.
