Local employees honored by American Senior Communities with Quest for Excellence Awards

Published November 6th, 2008

American Senior Communities, Indiana’s largest provider of senior housing and health care services, recently honored key employees with the coveted Quest for Excellence Award. Recipients were recognized during a dinner and awards ceremony at the Fountains in Carmel, which included a presentation by international motivational speaker, Dan Clark. Clark has been recognized as one of the top 10 speakers in the world by Achievers North America and Achievers Europe. He is a singer/songwriter, screenwriter, philanthropist and New York Times best-selling author and overcame a paralyzing injury received during his time as an athlete. Clark shared his insight into what it takes to overcome obstacles and achieve success in life’s endeavors. He congratulated the award recipients on their accomplishment and recognized them as examples to follow.

The Quest for Excellence Award honors outstanding employees from each of the American Senior Communities locations. Each recipient is an individual who has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, dedication to his or her job, a positive attitude and a passion for customer service. Based upon these key performance areas, 44 employees were selected by their peers to be honored at this prestigious event.

“This year’s Quest for Excellence awardees serve as an example of what a strong work ethic and passion for excellence can accomplish for a company,” said Dan Benson, Chief Operating Officer for American Senior Communities. “These exceptional employees have a strong impact on our company, not only in the quality care they provide to our residents, but also by their unsurpassed commitment to customer service. We recognize these employees because they represent the spirit of the core principles and values of American Senior Communities.”
