Roncalli receives ISU service award

Roncalli High School was selected as an Honorable Mention award recipient for the Sycamore Community Service Leadership Award from Indiana State University for the second year. The award includes a $500 mini-grant for RHS to spend on community service activities and a $1,000 annual scholarship for a student attending ISU in the fall of 2009.
The Sycamore Community Service Award was created in 2006 to recognize high schools that demonstrate commitment to community engagement and to reward students who practice service learning. Roncalli will be recognized at a reception at ISU on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m.
