The Friends Foundation celebrated the 20th benefit pageant at the Beech Grove Promoter’s Club Fall Festival in September. More than $3,000 was collected by 39 candidates to support children living with HIV/AIDS. Donna Duncan, daughter of Ashley Belcher and Ricky Duncan, and Eli Szczyrba, son of Kaz and Ashley Szczyrba took Tiny Tot honors. Little Miss and Little Mister Honors were taken by: Joslyn Petrecca, daughter of Tony and Rici Petrecca; Paige Kosowan, daughter of Adam Kosowan and Jessica Milner; Carter Smith, son of Sunny Fulmer; and Ethan Wilson, son of Dennis and Brenda Wilson. Junior Miss and Junior Mister honors were taken by: Taylor Collins-Cardis, daughter of Jessica Cardis and Dave Collins; Cassidy Shelton, daughter of Charlene Shelton and Rob Shelton; Bishop Smith, son of Sunny Fulmer; and Hunter Wilson, son of Dennis and Brenda Wilson. All candidates were featured in a parade on Sept. 13.
