A little bit of the beach – full of fun, fantasy and females
Here’s something wonderful that a
lot of men don’t know or maybe
they forget about women.
What is it? Well, we love to
laugh and play.
We females don’t particularly love the kitchen
and toilet bowl clean-up nearly as much as you
guys might think. We actually prefer happy, undomestic
stuff.
Here’s another shocker- very few of us are
strictly appropriate all of the time. We might
pretend in public that we’re perfect. But get us
with girlfriends and you’ll see and hear a different
story.
I was reminded of this fact a few yucky winter
days ago, when I started a Facebook Beach Fantasy
thing with my girlfriends … this endeavor
now includes women I don’t personally know.
But who cares?
We’ve all got the same goal… find us a giggle
in the day and we’re good to go.
Last winter for a few days was the first time I
dabbled in my Beach Fantasy idea. I had undergone
a couple of surgeries for arthritis, was pretty
darn immobile and bored out of my gourd.
As soon as the temperature started to drop,
friends started asking me to again bring back
Beach Fantasy on my Facebook page. And boy,
you wouldn’t believe how quickly the women
jumped aboard.
We make each other laugh like crazy. We make
some rather inappropriate little comments here
and there about the photos of young hot guys I
post almost daily on my Facebook page, among
other photos of the beach, the boats, the sunsets
on the water and the little story lines.
We Facebook fantics forget- often- about
dirty dishes in the sink, snow on the driveway
and kids trashing the newly cleaned kitchen.
We step into Beach Fantasy and turn into teenagers.
Now don’t get us wrong. We girls understand
that guys don’t quite “get” us. In fact, some guys
continue to be downright dumbfounded by
some of the creative ways our womanly minds
turn one photo into a mini novel. But we don’t
care about whether men understand it. It’s kind
of like that old game “telephone,” one post leads
to another- and they’re always hilarious.
Women together whip up some awesome
moments. Girlfriends put the color in the
world. And while everyone else suffers through
the chill of January in Indiana, you’ll find many
of us lounging on the Facebook beaches of Florida,
Jamaica and Costa Rica.
Creative and fun-loving- that’s how we females
roll.
