Mural transforms montessori school

Montessori Garden Academy, located at 4141 S. East St., has gotten a facelift at their new home in the form of an enormous mural painted by freelance artist Carl Leck. The mural was designed last summer by professional illustrator Penelope Dullaghan.
Home Depot (Southport) and Behr Paint made a generous donation of Behr paint for the mural and building exterior. In addition, Cardwell Do-It Best Home Center (Indianapolis) donated scaffolding for the project. Sherwin-Williams (Beech Grove) donated anti-graffiti coating that will ensure the protection of the mural.
