Marjorie L. Henshaw, 80, of Indianapolis, died Friday, Oct. 2. She was born April 29, 1929, in Beech Grove. She retired from Western Electric. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henshaw. She is survived by her children, John Davidson, Sherry Surber and Dennis Davidson; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Private services were held on Oct. 6.

Thomas M. Roeder, 65, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, Sept. 30. He was born Feb. 4, 1944, the son of the late Lawrence and Marian Roeder. Tom was a Vietnam veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and retired from Ameritech at Eli Lilly. Tom is survived by his wife, Alice (Lauck) Roeder; sons, Tommy (Karen), Andy (Melissa), John (Jennifer), and Charley (Rachael) Roeder; 12 grandchildren; and sisters, Laurel Schiefelbein and Jan Toler. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Wethington. Friends called Oct. 2 at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home. Prayers were conducted on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude Catholic Church. Tom was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
