Alma Louise (Smith) Branham, 72, of Indianapolis, died August 1. She was born April 24, 1937, in Hardensburg, Ind., to Harry and Emma G. (England) Smith, who preceded her in death along with her husband Earl Leo Branham, Sr. and sons Ricky Lee, Everett Leo, and Kenneth Branham. She was a homemaker. She is survived by sons Michael Gene (Karen), Earl Leo (Kathy) Jr., Roger Dale, Gary Dean Branham; daughters Pamela Kay Smith and Chrystal Dawn (Rickey) Butrum; brothers Harry Smith, Jr. and Harold (Kathy) Smith; sisters, Hazel Moore, Phyllis Meyers and Ethel Salvage; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, August 6, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fountain Square Mortuary. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m.at Hardensburg Cemetery in Hardensburg, Ind.

Georgie Clemmer, 85, of Indianapolis, died July 28. She was born December 22, 1923, to Russel and Odie Belle Johnson in Combs, Ark. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Bit) Fegett and Peggy (Steve) Schwartz; son, Bill Clemmer; grandchildren, Vanessa (Scott) Brown, Angel Syra, Steven (Allycia) Schwartz, Susie Schwartz, Jenny Clemmer, and Joe Clemmer; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Warren Clemmer. Services were held August 1 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home. She was laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Barbara Anne Crews, 63, of Greenwood, died July 31. She was born February 12, 1946, in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Gaylord Evans and Janet Lee Evans. Survivors include her son, Jason; sister, Alyce Johnson and aunt, Jeane Evans Page. Services will be private.

Walter Edwin Klipsch, 86, of Indianapolis, died August 3. He was born on August 28, 1922, to Frederick Albert and Myrtle Fanny Robling Klipsch in Petersbug, Ind. He married Elois Bellmeda. She precedes him in death. Survivors include daughter Cheryl Brewer, son Edwin Klipsch, sister Claribel Tretter of Tucson, Ariz., four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother and sister. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. Visitation was held at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Singleton & Herr Southport Chapel on August 5. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Southeast Baptist Tabernacle, 6835 Shelbyville Rd, Indianapolis IN 46237.

Vivian May (Carrico) Riggs, 75, of Indianapolis, died July 29. She was born October 30, 1933, in Indianapolis to the late Izra and Pearl Carrico. She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Carol) Danford and Kevin (Nancy) Kelley; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Quillen; brothers, Tom and Ronnie Carrico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Riggs; son, Paul Danford; and 10 siblings. Services were held August 1 at G.H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home. Vivian will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mary Edith Trent, 91, of Indianapolis, died July 29. She was born July 26, 1918, in Metcalf County, Ky., to Arthur and Lizzie Gibbons. Her husband, Carlos V. Trent and grandchildren, Cindy and Christopher Trent, and a great granddaughter, Paige, preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Wendell (Peggy) Trent, Jerri (Joe) Murphy, Larry Trent, and Diane Duncan; sister, Laverne Fall; brother, Grant Gibbons; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. Services will be held August 1, 2009 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home. She was laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
