IMPD Southeast arrests and incidents for the week of 06.15.09

6/7/2009 7:30PM, 3205 Washington St. – Knife assault A female was found lying in the street stabbed in the stomach at the Walgreens parking lot . No known suspects at this time. If you have information please call Crime Stoppers.

6/5/2009 6:10 PM, 652 Dayton Ave. – Aggravated Assault A victim was reported to be stabbed in the neck. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim and obtained a description. They then searched the area and found the suspect, Christopher Ostack and he was arrested for the stabbing.

6/8/2009 3:30 AM, 3747 English Ave. – Armed Robbery The Village pantry was robbed Male who came in through the front door with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect was of unknown race wearing white, latex gloves, a black jacket with a hood and black pants. He was described as 5 foot high and fled East bound on foot from the store.

6/8/2009 11:00 Am, 5040 Southgreen Dr. – Domestic, shots fired James Rosetto was arrested after getting into an argument with his girlfriend and then fired shots outside their apartment. After a large response from Southeast Dist. Officers The building was surrounded and the suspect was talked into leaving the apartment and surrendering without further incident. No one was injured during the incident.
