Golden Living resident turns 102

Born in 1907, Oma Shadowens has seen all the changes that the last century has brought. City Councilman Mike Speedy presented her with a special proclamation honoring her birthday. Oma has seven children (including son Tom, left), 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
