Happy Feet this weekend at the Gathering Place

By Shannon Veerkamp Follow the paper footprints. On March 1, children and adults will take their starting stance to race during Happy Feet. Mackenzie Hassee, 18, organized the race at the Gathering Place for her senior project. The registration cost of $20 or less, depending on division by age group, finances scholarships for children wanting to participate in many sports leagues at the Gathering Place. Dan Carmichael, Program Director, is her senior project mentor.
